Motodownlow is a product of many years of evolution and consequently rediscovery as technology and market needs changed. The one core value that has remained through every reiteration of the site has been to create something that is for the enthusiast by the enthusiast. The goal has NEVER been to make money, charge for services or be the object of outside influence. Through this simple creed we have opted to adopt a much more grass roots approach, a motorcycle co-op website if you will. By helping to
nurture and promote local businesses we in turn hope that they will pass on that same goodwill to customers in the form of special offers and discounted rates. The second piece that is critical to achieving our goals is engagement, except not the simple form of engagement aimed at merely growing a membership base for the bragging rights of doing so. As we mentioned before we would like you, the subscriber to have a voice in what content is displayed on the site. What does that mean? If you are an armchair motojournalist, photographer, racer, product reviewer, race fan or any other enthusiast that wants to have their voice heard we want to talk to you. If you have an idea for an article or feature let us know. When you registered for the site you may have been irritated by the amount of questions we asked but that was all in an effort to learn more about you and how we can make the site more relevant for you. Our mission is clear. We want to be as approachable, responsive and ultimately as accommodating as we can. Period. All we ask in return is you treat this site with as much respect as you would your own.
